Once upon a time there was a king, an old king. His name was Herald, and he ruled over all Finland.

The first man who conquered the whole country and had the full power of it, but every great power carries a great responsibility.

VIII century, different towns of Finland are revealing, Herald needs to be dethroned, people are starving, blood is constantly being spilled. By Hugo 

North towns joined forces against Herald, forming an army of twenty thousand men, including horses, knights, squires and more. On the other hand, Herald prepared his kingdom against the imminent attack of the north towns alliance. But what he didn’t know is that an assassin was already in the kingdom, who's orders were to get into the royal family  and become the right hand of the king Herald. By Pablo

Eirík was now like a brother to Herald, he was aware of all the plans and took part in most of the important decisions. He had become a new member of the royal family, as planned. The important day was getting closer but he had control of everything. Eirík had been studying every movement Herald kingdom would do and communicated it to his king, the betrayal was already done. North towns knew perfectly how to act in order to defeat them, there was nothing Herald could do, he was about to lose everything. By Isabel

A massive battle took place around the castle between the Northern army against the royal army. The Northern people knew the king’s army strategies thanks to Eirík. Even though they knew how to act in every situation, they had some trouble as the royal army was stronger than expected and some of the Northern people died. However, they did not give up and fought until they defeated king’s army. They entered into the castle, where Eirík was waiting. By Sofía

When the Northern King, Fabio, and all the Northern army entered they closed the gates of the castle. Eirík was sitting in the throne as a King but he wasn't wearing the crown which looked suspicious. Fabio asked him where was Herald, when suddenly soldiers started to appear from different places. They started fighting and the Northern army was defeated, Fabio was the only one that left alive. Later Herald  showed up and said " I'm here Fabio". By Moe

What happened is that at first Eirík was going to betray Herald , but when he was getting to know him better he realized that he was falling in love with him, a feeling he never had before , as a consequence he confessed. After explaining everything to Herald , they made a plan to defeat the Northern army but they wanted Fabio alive ,Erik and Herald were doubting about the punishment for Fabio ,but a brilliant idea came to Herald’s mind. Herald to parade through the Northern Kingdom’s territory, with Fabio half naked, humiliating the figure of their ruler. After that, Fabio signed a treaty in which Herald was given the reigns of power of the Northern Kingdom, he was given the name of Herald the I, great emperor of Scandinavia. Eirík became the ruler of the Northern territory, as a reward to his loyalty towards Herald. They started training a new military order in order to prepare for an attack on the Southern territories. The southern territories, whom had observed everything that happened before, were totally prepared for attacking Herald. They knew Herald's military order wasn't ready, it was the perfect time of attacking it. They didn't doubt a second, so that same day at 18:00 their army entered Heralds kingdoms. By Ana

The first important battle had started. Tampere, a border town between both kingdoms, was besieged by the Southern Army. The Southerners’ leader was an old man called Tabor, who had loyally served in the army before the civil war. Tabor’s troops quickly surrounded the city, helped by their superior boats which allowed them to control Lake Näsiselkä. In just eight days, the third city of Finland surrendered to General Tabor‘s troops. By Miguel

Herald was shocked, he did not expect an attack like that one. He was planning to put troops on the frontier, but at that moment Erik decided to declare his love towards him, the worst moment possible. Herald did not have that feeling too, so he sent Erik to jail, because at that time homosexuality was seen as a very big crime. By Gonzalo

Eirik felt fooled. After all he and Herald had gone through, sent to jail like a rat. This broke his heart, making revenge the only thing Eirik wanted. Meanwhile, Herald was watching how all he got was going down. He didn't know what to do, he was completely blocked. He was so stressed that didn’t pay attention to the fact that, his most loyal friend, was in jail for loving him. By Andrés

As a result of the anger that filled him, he needed to escape from there. So he started studying the behavior of the guards, the timetables, he even made a map out of the things he saw by the window. Two months after they were locked in, he already had a perfect plan. But one thing was missing, Eirík, the love of his life. He had worked so hard to escape but he would be empty for his whole life if he didn’t find a way to break him out. Manuel Ruiz

After a lot of thinking Herald decided to go rescue Eirík from the dungeons, when he arrived there, Eirík didn’t want to see him. Herald started begging him, after a long time begging Eirík, he decided to hear Herald. Herald explained him the situation. He told him that the moment that he chose to confess his feelings, wasn’t a good moment and he also admitted that all this time, that Eirík was in the dungeons, he thought a lot about him and he realised that he was in love with him too. However, just before they could exchange love vows, a soldier entered the dungeons shouting that the Southern army had arrived and besieged the citadel of Jötum, right by Herald’s castle. The king, due to their desperate situation, decided to flee through the catacombs and set course towards the dark woods of Myrkviðr. There, him and Eirík would search for the four Divine Weapons that, legend said, were hidden within the bark of the World Tree, Yggdrasil: Mjölnir, the Thunder Hammer; Gungnir, the Heavenly Spear; Mystletainn, the Earthen Sword; and Fimbulvetr, the Ice Crosier that could turn into the Fire Whip. With these weapons, their victory would be guaranteed. Jacobo

Herald imprisoned Eirick  because after all, he knew his big ability to plan military strategies, not only after having observed the movements of his enemies, he was also one of the best of the kingdom at doing those strategies in times of stress and when there was not much time to act or not many options to carry out. With no time to lose, they rapidly changed their clothes in order to look as if they were peasants. They left Fabio as the ruler of the empire, because Fabio wanted to see their empire falling down, but the only thing he hated more than Herald was Tabor. That man was about to rule over the whole north and had to avoid it. They took the horses and went there as fast as possible. As they were leaving, they decided to go around the Tabor's army base camp and see what they were planning. They were terrified because of the hundreds of knights and weapons that were waiting. They should be fast if they wanted to have a chance to win. Javier

When they arrived to the dark woods of Myrkviðr they weren't alone, one part of Tabor's empire was there too, but they were just covering that part of the battlefield, they didn't know about the four divine weapons. They arrived in complete silence so they couldn't see them, to hide they climbed on top of the Raknøverû Holy Tree, the Tree where the four divine weapons were supposedly hiden. They waited until the army moved on to another part of the field and that's when they started digging. Sergio Vara

They dug for a while. They were rubbing their hands and inevitably their lips too. At that moment, they were completely forgetful about the war. The only thought they had was the passionate kiss. That feeling did not last too much as Herald felt really guilty. Without uttering a single word they continued digging in order to unearth the Four Divine Weapons.Nicolás Bagur

They began to hear many footsteps, getting closer and closer. It was Tabor's army. One of them had seen them coming.  All those who had gone to dig, hid, but only one of them ran out of hiding and was the one who was caught and shot instantly. That man was the best friend of another man who was hiding there, and the anger that he had inside exploded and made him come out of his hiding place and start fighting against Tabor's army.Ana Baños

The group of soldiers from the Northern territory was tiny compared to Tabor’s Southern guard. These brave warriors fought with all their heart, but they were defeated and captured, all except Eirik, who had managed to escape just in time. He knew the battle was lost unless he got the Four Divine Weapons, but he didn’t care about that, he had lost his loved one, Herald, and he could only assume how badly he would be tortured. After moments of grief, he decided to wait until the guards went, and he would continue digging the tunnel, knowing this might the only way he could save his only reason for living, Herald. He swung his axe with desperation, each time hitting the trunk with more strength. He let out a painful screech, feeling helpless and overwhelmed by the fear of losing the one he loved. The handle snapped in half, and he punched the tree repeatedly with his fists, almost like a child hitting their parents and asking for their toy. His knuckles were covered in blood and splitters, yet he wouldn't stop. His cries grew louder until he collapsed onto his knees and sobbed into the palms of his hands. Though through his pale fingers he could see a light, coming from the tree, shining through. Alexa C.

A dazzling beam of light which blinded him started shining from a hole in the bark of the tree, Eirik should have taken his eyes off the beam but he wanted to continue looking at it until the only thing he could see was a spear getting out of the tree. The tree stopped shining but Eirik didn't stop seeing it, he was blind, but when he handled the spear he could perceive everything around him, he could close his eyes and still manage to know where every obstacle is. Eirik realised this spear was Gungnir, a spear given by the great Odin which guided everyone that handled it towards victory and gave them insane power and skill. -Stefan

 Eirik was alone so he decided to grab one more weapon. He chose the Ice Crosier, that would turn into the Fire Whip, and went with the mission of saving his dear Herald. It was night time, so Eirik decided to enter where Herald was imprisoned. Eirik, with the help of the two weapons, killed the guards and was able to liberate Herald. They were capable of escaping without anyone seeing them and rode two horses to go grab the weapons that were left in the World Tree. That way they could come back and fight the enemies. Ariana.

Eirik and Herald came back to the battlefield with every legendary weapon so they gave some of them to their allies. In almost no time they defeated the majority of Tabor's army. Tabor was imprisoned and sentenced to death in the gallow. The survivors of his army decided to surrender and pledge loyalty to Herald and Eirik, which then ruled the kingdom together. Fabio also pledged loyalty to them. Herald and Eirik also decided to rule Finland in a better way, and taking more care about the population, which led Finland to be a prosperous country. The End
