In a fantasy world, whatsisname I don't remember, there was a pirate named Roger, who became the most powerful and rich pirate of the world. Just before he died, he got all his wealth buried in a safe place, that no one has ever known. This marked the beginning of a new era, the pirate era, which drove all the pirates to one purpose, finding the hidden treasure of the legendary pirate. In a small village, a young man named Nelson left his home and got into the sea in order to find this treasure. By Pablo

It was July 18, it had been two days since Nelson left land, he still hadn't seen any clues as to where the desired treasure might be. Nelson did not travel alone, he had his parrot with him, which constantly repeated everything he said. One night the animal started saying "Jack, Jack, my name is Jack", Nelson was undoubtedly surprised, he stirred the entire boat from the stern to the bow in search of some hidden pirate who wanted to steal his treasure, but found nothing.  Now he had more important things to think about, however this idea still on his mind. Time passed by and Nelson and his parrot were getting closer and closer to the island where the treasure was meant to be hidden. Nelson had forgotten about what his parrot said until one day he heard some steps on his boat. He unsheathed his sword and went to look for someone. After an hour looking all over the boat he could not find anyone or anything unusual. So once more, he just forgot about it and continued his way to the treasure island.  By Sofía

The day finally arrived. Nelson was sleeping quietly when suddenly his parrot starting saying “land,land,land”. He got up right away, and checked if what the parrot was saying was right. And indeed it was, Nelson started jumping of happiness  and started shouting “I'm gonna be the richest person in the whole world”. Once they arrived in the mainland, he couldn't see things well as it was foggy, he jumped out of the boat when suddenly he hears and sees steps through the wet sand. By Moe

That’s when he realized that he wasn’t alone , he tried to see if there was any other boats around the island but that wasn’t the case . There were two only possibilities , the first one that came  to his mind is that all this time he wasn’t alone and that there was someone on the boat with him .The second possibility is that maybe there was a castaway in the island all this time .To check if it’s first hypothesis was right ,he decided to look around the boat to see if he could find anything that belonged to the  mysterious person. He wandered around the boat for half an hour, but he was unable to find any evidence of the presence of another person. He decided, as the sun was still shining bright, to explore the remote island, in order to find the treasure he had been seeking for his whole life. At first, he did not find anything that lead him to believe that that island was the one he had been looking for, but, after days of unfructuous exploration, he found a tribe of locals sacrificing another pirate. He smiled for a second, but it didn't last long. Lots of thoughts filled his mind. "What if another pirate got the treasure first?" "What if the tribe has it?". "What if the tribe finds me and sacrifices me?" Unfortunately one can't stop thinking, so he tried his best to focus on the main point. What should he do next. Asking the locals wasn't an option, and continuing searching was pointless, he had been actively searching for the past days and found nothing. By Ana Pérez 

Nelson was growing increasingly desperate, and suicidal thoughts started to enter his mind. One night, he ran towards a cliff and fell into a trap covered by leaves which avoided the fatal incident. He fell down a small hole filled with dynamite, but, luckily it did not explode. Thus, the pirate started to wander through a series of small cavities, searching for the way out. Nelson instantly thought that it was the map of the treasure, and he started to run for it following the map. When he thought that he was close to it, he saw that the treasure was under a really big palm tree, he started caving without knowing that it was the tree in which the tribe did the sacrifices, and after five minutes caving he did not find the treasure, instead he found some human bodies that were buried, after seeing it he listened some voices saying ‘Abduscan kebab durum mixto’. Nelson was completely frightened. He saw some locals that were aiming at him with bows, so he ran as fast as he could, until he lost them. He returned to the boat thinking that he had lost all this time and effort. When he entered the boat he saw something that shocked him. A man had cooked his parrot and was eating it. When the man saw Nelson he said: “Hey, I’m Jack. At last we meet each other!” By Andrés Rodríguez

Nelson, at first, was rageous about the fact that he had killed his parrot, and charged towards him. Surprisingly, Jack was a karate master and knocked him down. When he woke up, Jack had already set sail somewhere. Shocked, Nelson started scanning the boat and saw a big chest opened and with a slight glow around it. Jack had found the treasure! Manuel Ruiz

Nelson, really confused, asked Jack about how he managed to find the treasure. Jack told him that treasure he found wasn’t the real treasure, this one was only a hint for the real treasure. Nelson approached the big chest and saw that the glow that was around the chest was only an illusion. Nelson asked Jack to join forces and search together he treasure, little did they know what was going to happen next… Elisa

Following the instructions of the mysterious hint, both pirates sealed for months in order to find another island. During the trip, they surprisingly form a ever-lasting friendship, they felt as if they were siblings and could share everything they thought.

When they landed on the island, they found near the shore a man and a women both fainted due to unknown reasons. After a day, both of them, regain consciousness but neither of them remembered what happened. However, Nelson and Jack weren’t paying attention. Nelson could only focus on the beautiful complexion of the women and her delicate hands. On the other hand, Jack could only look to the man’s gorgeous muscles and to his strong hands, that seem to be able to lift any weight. Jacobo

Nelson and Jack had a long discussion about what should they do with the woman and the man, and after awhile they concluded that both could be useful for them at some point, but neither could they tell about the true objective of the long journey. A few days passed until both were completely cured and know it was time for Jack and Nelson to explain them “what were they going to do now on”. Laura

Days passed by until one morning, the man, named Kukumuru, asked them where were they going. Nelson was very nervous and he lied them telling that they were trying to go around the world in 80 days, but obviously they didn't believed him and they were obligated to make Kukumuru and Kawasgua, the woman, prisoners. Little did they knew that Kukumuru and Kawasagua were running away from Mitsubishi, the car business that wanted to capture every tuna in the world. That was a secret, but they both knew it and they were being persecuted to kill them. It was a matter of days to the armed ship of Mitsubishi to find them and sink them. Javier Vallejo Terraza

They wanted to keep the secret but they also wanted to leave and move to another side because being on the same spot for a long time didn't benefit them. 

Nelson and Jack wanted to look for the treasure and they didn't want to leave until they had looked everywhere in that island. Kukumuru and Kawasagua had plan, they were going to offer them help to find the treasure but that wasn't just for being nice. The next day they offered help and Nelson accepted so they all started looking for it. After a couple hours Jack and Nelson decided to go back to the boat to eat something and once they got back the boat wasn't there, it had been stolen by Kukumuru and Kawasagua. Sergio Vara

But that was not the worst thing that could happen to them. The japaneses had left on their clothes a GPS tracker, so Mitsubishi would seek for Jack and Nelson instead of them.

They were completely isolated in the island. Instead of sitting down and wait, leaving his life to the fate, they started collecting and harvesting everything that could be useful for them to escape from there. Nelson was in the top of a mountain and, suddenly he found a grotto. Without thinking it twice he entered. Nicolás Bagur

There was no light in that grotto, so Nelson took out a match and lit it.  He couldn't believe what he was seeing. There were cave paintings on the walls.  Some showed the treasure and people with weapons, chasing others. Then he turned and saw it there.  A painting of the treasure map. At that moment he began to jump with joy. Until he stepped on one thing that the sound of the creaking rumbled through the cave.  He looked at what the thing he had stepped on was and he was very scared. Ana Baños

The cave was an elaborate trapped designed by Mitsubishi, in order to capture everyone that escaped from them. They both fell into a small metallic cage, which closed as soon as the touched the floor. After two days without feeding nor drinking, they were finally graced by the presence of two men in black clothes, holding guns. Both men were shocked, as they were expecting to see Kukumuru and Kawasagua there. They phoned a man who both pirates supposed was there boss.Carlo Cabrera

They were dangerously dehydrated, so seeing as they weren't the people they were expecting to find, the men in black were kind enough to toss them a waterskin each. The two pirates drank it in seconds, and almost cried from how good it tasted. 

From the phone could only be heard the distorted yelling of the furious boss, who was calling the two men "idiots" and "incompetent bastantards," along with some other sweet nothings. Eventually he hung up and they both looked at the pirates. "Do you know anything about a man and woman called Kukumuru and Kawasgua respectively?" Jack and Nelson looked at each other before looking back at the two men and nodding. Alexa C.

They proceeded to tell the men in black all they did know about Kukumuru and Kawasagua, which didn’t give them the information they were looking for. The men in black thought they were lying so to make them speak, they killed Jack. Nelson could care less about him, after all it was his fault they were there and he just brought him to bad situations overall. But Nelson was scared as they could do the same thing with him, so tried to help in everything he could. -Stefan

 If he cooperated and was open to help them, he would gain time and could think about his next step. In the end, he had nothing to lose, he had lost Jack, his parrot, and the boat, so that was the only option he had. The men in black gave Nelson a second chance to speak. Nelson had told them the exact same version as before but this time, the two men looked at each other and agreed on believing him, they had seen the honest look Nelson had in his eyes. Eventually, they would liberate Nelson, but not for free, he would have to do something in return… Ariana

Nelson  wouldn't be liberated until he had to help them find Kukumuru and Kawasagua. Luckily for Nelson, while everyone was sleeping in the ship during nighttime, he realised that the ship they were in had emergency boats, so with a lot of stealth, Nelson stole one of those boats and he continued his journey in order to find the treasure. Suddenly, a huge beam of light emerged from the sea. Nelson could not see what it was, he could only hear a voice saying:"If you are looking for the treasure, you must do good for everyone with it, because if not, there will be very bad consequences for you. The treasure is located on the island of 'Candilandia'. When you get there, a very wise man with the name of Dyeī Pelëegro will decide if you are prepared or not for this treasure. " The figure disappeared, and Nelson fainted. He woke up in a beautiful island three days later, and a very tall, old man with white hair said:"Finally. I've been waiting for your arrival. Welcome to Candilandia". Jose

Nelson was astonishingly sorprised, he had never seen an island like that, it was different. After a long talk with these wise man and several conflicts, Nelson could saw the treasure.

At first, he did not believe it, the “treasure” was totally dissapointing, there was just a small coin, it was strange like if it was of an unknown material, but there was only one. Nelson almost left the place without taking it, but just because of the effort to found it.

One year had passed since the discovery of the treasure, Nelson was the poorest man in the Capital. His friend and his parrot were death, he only had the small coin, which he did not know what to do with. The little coin became like an amulet for him, but it kept being useless.

In order to eat, just to eat, he went to sold the coin, at least it could gave him for a piece of bread. 

The life reward Nelson, the rare material was lapislazuli, the most expensive valued material. Nelson even talked with the governor of the Capital for doing the selling.

This coin was unique, exotic, the solution to Nelson’s life.

In conclusion, after selling the coin, Nelson became sorprinsingly rich. 

He was able to lived without any problem for the rest of his life. After all of this, he learned the lesson of not understimating something that at first seems useless, cheap, seedy. -Hugo
